Wei Si currently serves as Vice Chairman of Cellgenes, a biotechnology company. He has more than 20 years of experience in investment banking and investment management, with expertise across IPOs, refinancing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and secondary-market investment. He is a graduate of the Institute of World Economics, Fudan University (IWEFU), with a strong background in macroeconomic analysis and capital markets.
Early in his career, Mr. Si worked at China Merchants Securities and Great Wall Securities, where he led capital-market projects for more than 50 well-known companies, including Mindray, Fuyao Glass, and Tasly. His work covered key areas such as public listings and offerings, strategic M&A, and strategic financing. With extensive industry resources and strong integration capabilities, he has helped multiple companies complete capital-market transactions and has accumulated substantial hands-on experience in integrating industrial strategy with capital operations and enhancing corporate value.
Having worked at the forefront of China’s capital markets for many years, Mr. Si has developed deep insights into policy cycles, industry trends, and transaction-structure design. He is committed to providing enterprises with capital solutions across the corporate life cycle.
