Chen Xu holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Nankai University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Donghua University.

In 2013, he founded ExCell Bio and currently serves as the Chairman and President of the company.

Mr. Chen Xu currently holds the following positions: Member of the Council of the China Enterprise Confederation, Council Member of the Shanghai Society for Cell Biology, Committee Member of the Cell Therapy Research and Application Division of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology, Committee Member of the Medical Cell Biology Division of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology, Executive Council Member of the Shanghai Management Science Society, Standing Committee Member of the Xuhui District Federation of Industry and Commerce in Shanghai, Leading Talent in Scientific and Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, Vice President of the Shanghai Alumni Association of Nankai University, Vice President of the Alumni Association of Donghua University, Board Member of BayHelix (a Chinese biomedical elite organization), and Special Industry Expert of Shanghai Caohejing Emerging Technology Development Corporation.
