Held from July 22 to 24, 2026, the inaugural CPIC (China Pharma Innovation Conference) was officially launched by Tongxieyi at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, following the organization's strategic transformation. Designed as China's answer to the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, the event was themed "Chinese Efficiency Accelerates Global Drug Innovation." Featuring 65 specialized sessions, 900 speakers from 22 countries, and an estimated 20,000 attendees, the conference represented a monumental gathering that firmly positioned China at the center of the global biopharmaceutical dialogue. Its debut reverberated across the global innovation landscape, breaking records in scale and signaling the decisive emergence of China's new drug development capabilities on the world stage.
