In 2026, TONACEA will undertake a strategic upgrade and, from July 22 to 24, will host the inaugural China Pharmaceutical Innovation Conference (CPIC)—the “Chinese version of JPM”—at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The event is being held at the world’s largest integrated exhibition complex and the permanent venue for the China International Import Expo, leveraging the four-dimensional transportation network of the Hongqiao International Hub to systematically bring together multinational pharmaceutical companies, international investment banks, global capital firms, and leading professional service providers in Shanghai. By focusing on the Yangtze River Delta—the birthplace of China’s innovative pharmaceutical industry—the conference will facilitate in-depth exchanges and one-on-one business matchmaking with more than a thousand outstanding enterprises, thereby establishing a new global landscape for innovative pharmaceuticals characterized by “San Francisco in early year, Shanghai in mid-year.” This initiative will continue to connect China’s innovation with the world and amplify its value.
