Conference Introduction

Over the past decade, China’s innovative drug industry has risen rapidly and become deeply integrated into the global pharmaceutical landscape. Biopharmaceuticals have been officially designated as a national emerging pillar industry for the first time.

From July 22 to 24, 2026,TONACEA, will cooperate with multiple partner institutions to host The 1st China Pharmaceutical Innovation Conference(CPIC)at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

Benchmarking against the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, CPIC will establish a model of“China Innovation – Global Partnerships – Shanghai Dealmaking”to accelerate  global collaboration across China's innovative pharmaceutical ecosystem.

CPIC will convene a high-caliber assembly of multinational pharmaceutical giants, global investment banks, major stock exchanges, and top-tier legal and accounting firms. Beyond deep-dive explorations of China’s biopharmaceutical landscape and site visits to flagship industrial parks, participants will engage in one-on-one strategic matchmaking with over a thousand pioneering enterprises to facilitate high-impact cross-border deals.
