On the evening of July 23, during the inaugural "Great Nation New Drugs" Global Conference (CPIC 2026), nearly 300 leaders of China's innovative drug industry gathered for an exclusive dinner jointly hosted by 3SBio and Tongxieyi, themed "Three Lives Reach Far, Four Leaves Shine Together." The event was supported by Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group, Zhongrun Pharmaceutical, Haier Biomedical, Hygieia Capital, and Citibank.

Throughout the evening, speeches resonated with conviction, a special moment honored industry pioneers, and a comedy show drew laughter and reflection. The exchanges sparked ideas for collaboration, and the sincere conversations built a shared vision for the future.

Tonight, we set aside barriers and speak only of our original aspirations; we cast aside titles and share only our bonds of camaraderie. Stand-Up Comedy Show

The stand-up comedy show "It's Great That You're Here" brought the dinner to a resounding climax.

Four special guests took the stage: Wang Ruwei, Dean of the Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Research Institute; Tu Yihua, Chief Talent Development Officer of Tongxieyi and General Manager of Zhuohao Pharmaceutical; Dai Han, Chief Business Officer of Vivawest; and Cheng Zengjiang. Starting from the origin of the CPIC 2026 conference theme, they launched into an impromptu word-chain game — "It's great that you're here, come again when it's great, the greater it gets the more you come, make a good thing even better" — weaving wit and insight into the true meaning of gathering together in the pharmaceutical community. The audience raised their glasses in unison, cheering: "China's new drugs are getting better and better — even better still!" Laughter and applause intertwined, leaving a warm and resonant echo on this summer night.
