Expected to gather over 20,000 participants,CPIC 2026 will occupy the Golden Hall and Hall 4.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), covering a total area of more than 30,000 square meters.
CPIC 2026 will feature over 300 thematic discussions and high-frequency 1-on-1 targeted business matchmaking sessions. These will cover critical issues, emerging trends, and focal points concerning the global partnerships and development of Chinese innovative drugs.

👉M Visa (Business Visa): Recommended for those traveling primarily for business activities or conference participation.
👉L Visa (Tourist Visa): If you plan to travel in China after CPIC 2026, you may apply for a tourist visa. This typically does not require a formal conference invitation letter.
📍Requirements for M Visa Application:Passport Bio-page Copy: Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended date of entry;CPIC 2026 Official Invitation Letter；Registration Confirmation；Recent Photo: Standard ID photo (50mm x 50mm) with a white background.

CPIC 2026 organizer (Tonacea) can issue an official CPIC 2026 Invitation Letter to successfully registered international attendees to support your M Visa (Business Visa) application. This letter is valid for citizens of all countries that have established diplomatic relations with China.
(Note: Guests from Europe and North America can typically complete their application with this letter. Participants from certain countries in the Middle East, Africa, and South America may require additional authentication from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the Organizing Committee will provide assistance as needed.)

The CPIC 2026 Main Stage and selected breakout sessions will feature real-time AI subtitling on large screens, providing intuitive and convenient bilingual (Chinese-English) content display.
To facilitate complex business networking, AI-powered smart translation devices are exclusively available for our paid international attendees. You can collect your device at the on-site Registration Desk by presenting your ticket. Enjoy seamless real-time voice translation to enhance your business communication efficiency.
Payment & Internet Access
🌟Mobile payments are ubiquitous in China, though cash is still widely accepted.
Alipay and WeChat Pay now fully support international credit/debit cards (including Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Diners Club, Discover, etc.).
📚How to Set Up:After downloading the app, register with your international mobile number or email. Complete the real-name authentication using your Passport. Follow the prompts to link your international card, and you will be ready to scan and pay via a generated QR code.
⏰Usage Tips:Limits usually apply to international card payments (e.g., approx. $5,000 per transaction and $50,000 per year, subject to the latest policies of the payment platforms). A small transaction fee may apply to certain amounts. We recommend consulting your card issuer before your trip.
Some dining outlets at the venue accept direct credit card payments. We recommend carrying a small amount of RMB (CNY) cash for emergencies. Currency exchange counters and self-service kiosks are available at both Shanghai airports (PVG/SHA), as well as within and around the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
📢Local SIM Cards:Service desks for China’s major carriers (China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom) are available in the arrivals halls of PVG and SHA airports. Short-term traveler SIM cards (e.g., 7-day or 15-day data plans) can be easily purchased with your passport, costing approximately $11-$28.
Transportation
The CPIC 2026 Venue is located at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) next to the Shanghai Hongqiao Transportation Hub, offering exceptional accessibility.
👉Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA):Distance: 6.4 km; approx. 15 minutes by taxi. (Recommended for connections via domestic or regional international flights).
👉Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG):Distance: 68 km; approx. 60 minutes by taxi (depending on traffic conditions).
Complimentary official shuttle buses will be provided between partner hotels and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The detailed schedule will be sent to participants via email prior to CPIC 2026.
