Amid the wave of globalization, Chinese innovative medicines are stepping onto the international stage with robust momentum, accelerating the transition from "China-First" to "Global FIC" (First-in-Class) innovations. As Chinese assets become key cooperation targets for global pharmaceutical companies and Chinese innovative drugs emerge as major trendsetters in the global pharmaceutical market, there is an urgent need to establish a regular, internationalized and marketoriented highend conference platform in China. This platform will systematically showcase the strengths of Chinese innovative medicines, connect multinational pharmaceutical enterprises and overseas investment institutions, guide global rulesetting, and upgrade the innovation ecosystem.

 

To this end, Tonacea will host the 1st China Pharmaceutical Innovation Conference (CPIC 2026) at the Golden Hall of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from July 22 to 24, 2026. Focusing on the core drivers behind the rise of Chinese new drugs, CPIC 2026 will discuss global strategies for innovative medicines and build an innovative model of “China Innovation‑Global Partnerships‑Shanghai Dealmaking”.

 

On the occasion of this landmark industry event, Tonacea, in partnership with Bank of Ningbo, will host the forum Reject Internal Competition, Embrace Global Expansion: Going Global & BD Transaction Dialogue at BioBAY on the afternoon of July 23, to jointly explore paths for highquality development.
