From July 22 to 24, 2026,TONACEA will host The 1st China Pharmaceutical Innovation Conference(CPIC 2026)at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

 

CPIC 2026 will establish a model of “China Innovation – Global Partnerships – Shanghai Dealmaking”. As the premier gateway for international capital to navigate China’s innovation ecosystem, and a strategic hub for Chinese pharmaceutical companies to scale globally, CPIC will undoubtedly set the benchmark for investment and partnership in the healthcare industry. CPIC will feature over 60 specialized sessions covering hot topics and future directions in healthcare innovation investment and globalization.

Today, the agenda of the New Models for Cross-border Pharmaceutical Cooperation Session, co-hosted by JunHe LLP and Tonacea, is officially released. Topic 1: Hurdles and Pitfalls in Overseas BD Transactions
Gerry Zhao:Partner, JunHe LLP


Gerry is a partner at JunHe LLP. He has a dual background in medicine  and law, and prior to joining JunHe, he worked at Hengrui Pharmaceuticals, where he gained experience in early-stage pharmaceutical research and development.

Ms. Chen has extensive experience in private equity and venture capital investment.
